RENAISSANCE PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE 2017

I fairly enjoyed looking through the works of different photographers for the Renaissance Photography Prize at the Getty gallery, I’ve uploaded a few that stood out to me for their lighting and colour composition, as well as intense emotion. The great thing about these exhibitions is that you are able to enjoy a lot of different types of photography and styles because different creatives have different techniques and aesthetic. One thing which could’ve given the exhibit a lot more excitement is adding some variety in their set up and layout, i.e having a range of photo sizes just so it doesn’t feel so repitive and the viewer is less likely to get bored. Other than that, it was a wicked chance to see what kind of images catch people’s eyes and how unrestricted you can be to compete and win a prize for your visual.
