Potentially the world’s worst lighting diagrams, but as bad as they are, the quick sketches helped me to visualise my set up a little bit more and imagine what kind of angles and direction I wanted the lights to hit the model on. It makes a lot more sense when you can sketch something out even if you have to do it over and over again in different ways. I wasn’t sure how many lights I would be using but it’s effective to try and incorporate the different options all the same.
