For mono, I was most inspired by my favorite exhibition; ‘Hail the Dark Lioness’ by Zanele Muholi, who displayed beautiful detail and contrast through her dark skin which made her images stand out so stunningly and brought each of the indiviual personalities in the photographs to life. The idea of contrast appealed to me as the brief was restricted to black and white images and I figured this would be an exciting way to make them stand out and express a sexy attitude through the model.
